Itinerary:

DAY 1 

This tour package in the Galapagos Islands is the perfect one for family groups, with children, or simply for guests that don't like to stay overnights on board. Your transportation will pick you up approximately at 6:00 a.m. from your hotel in Quito to “Mariscal Sucre Airport”, to take the flight that goes to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, in San Cristóbal Island! Transportation from San Cristóbal Airport to your Hotel. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit the "Interpretation Centre" to learn all about the Galapagos Islands, and especially how you should behave during your stay on this important, and well-preserved pristine ecosystem. You will finish your first day in a beautiful warm sandy beach called “Playa Mann”, swimming with youth sea lions! In the evening you will relax at the hotel, enjoying the nocturnal activity of the Galapagos Islands wildlife! 

DAY 2

After having breakfast, your naturalist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in order to visit the community of “El Progreso” and the only freshwater crater lake of all the archipelago known as “El Junco”, where the frigate birds like to wash their wings to move apart the excess of salt on them. Afterwards you'll drive down to “Cerro Colorado” to visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre! Lunch on the way. You will finish your wonderful day at one of the most beautiful beaches of the Archipelago, well-known as “Puerto Chino”. There you could see marine iguanas, Galapagos crabs, blue-footed boobies, lava lizards, sea lions, etc. Then you'll drive back to your hotel, and you will have time to rest and relax at the front ocean boulevard…!

DAY 3

Breakfast. You have to walk towards the “Tourist Pier”, where you will meet your naturalist tour guide for this day! He/she will ride you on a comfortable yacht towards the “Kicker Rock” to discover the natural wonders of the Galapagos Marine Reserve!! You will have the opportunity to practice snorkeling through a beautiful canal located in between two ancient volcanic rock formations! During your time there, you will see Galapagos sharks, Hammerhead sharks, marine turtles, sea rays, colourful fishes, and much more! Lunch on board. You have an extra visit to a pristine beach known as Manglecito or Puerto Grande** to enjoy and relax on a desolate warm sandy beach! Ride back to the dock. Rest of the day to enjoy the wonderful facilities of the hotel or to keep exploring by your own! 

DAY 4

After having breakfast, your naturalist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start a hike, through a well-maintained and comfortable trail, up to “Tijeretas Hill”, place where Charles Darwin first landed from his vessel “Beagle”! On this trail it will be possible to watch lots of Galapagos Finches. Once you reach the summit of the hill, you will be delighted by the stunning view, and the great feeling of being in the middle of nowhere! Then you will have the opportunity to swim in a pristine beach called “Playa Carola”. In the afternoon you'll go to “La Lobería” where you can see big colonies of sea lions and marine iguanas! This site is also very popular in between surfers from all over the world to practice what they love the most! 

DAY 5

Breakfast. You will have time to walk through the front ocean boulevard in order to buy the last Galápagos souvenirs, or just to take the last pictures in town! Transportation to the airport to take your flight back to Quito! End of this unforgettable, high quality, and lifetime family experience in the exotic Galapagos Islands!!

Tour booking policy: Our tours are based on private transportation and guiding services. - All tour prices are given in US dollars. - All services should be fully prepaid 60 days before starting the tour. - Our clients must request availability via phone call or email. After confirming availability, bookings must be fully prepaid before starting the tour. - Especial physical conditions, allergies and dietary restrictions must be informed to a EBT's representative in advance. - Our tours will be guided in fluent English or Spanish languages, as it is required. - EBT shall have no liability with passengers in case of accidents or sickness. Therefore, EBT deeply recommends private travel insurance. - EBT reserves the right to cancel or suspend tours depending on weather conditions, natural disasters, government regulations, suspicious diseases, etc. Always regarding for the safety of the passengers. - Under no circumstances, EBT will refund any money on the same day that the tour takes place. - Cancellations must be done, at least two and a half months previous departure day. - In the case of other tourists who have chosen to travel with EBT to the same destination, and on the same dates, transportation and other facilities will be shared among all tour participants. - Flights cancellations, or last minute flight changes are totally out of control or responsibility of EBT. - Children under 2 years old pay only 50% of land tour, and the airfare. - EBT never offers refunds if a cancellation happens within 59 days before tours departure date. - EBT refunds 5% of the total amount if client decides to cancel a tour 60 days or more, before tours departure date.
